Our initiatives are designed with rural communities at the forefront to increase Indiana’s vitality. From increasing access to health and mental wellness to creating thriving rural places, we work alongside Indiana’s residents and leaders to strengthen our state.

We provide professional pathways for students, engaging students in meaningful, high-impact educational experiences and helping to retain talent in the state.

We support faculty in community-engaged and participatory research and creative activity that translates to improved outcomes and understanding in rural communities.
